Our results indicate that infiltrating immune cells persist in ischemic tissue after the acute ischemic phase, and are increased in sites of SND. Importantly, immune cells have been shown to play pivotal roles in both damage and repair processes after stroke. Our findings indicate that immune cells may also be involved in the pathogenesis of SND and further clinical studies are warranted to characterise the nature of inflammatory cell infiltrates in human disease.]]> Thu 17 Feb 2022 09:29:32 AEDT ]]> Selective transfection of microglia in the brain using an antibody-based non-viral vector https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:19304 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:49:59 AEDT ]]> A combined cumulative threshold spectra and digital reconstruction analysis reveal structural alterations of microglia within the prefrontal cortex following low-dose LPS administration https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:22704 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:15:24 AEDT ]]> Aerobic exercise prior to task-specific training to improve poststroke motor function: A case series https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:43033 Mon 12 Sep 2022 11:42:26 AEST ]]> Purinergic modulation of glutamate transmission: an expanding role in stress-linked neuropathology https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:34503 Fri 31 Jan 2020 16:43:15 AEDT ]]> An analysis of signal processing algorithm performance for cortical intrinsic optical signal imaging and strategies for algorithm selection https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:30277 Fri 21 Jun 2019 18:14:11 AEST ]]>
